EQS 2023 will take place on May 18 at historic Coffman Memorial Union on the campus of the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. EQS is tailored for library paraprofessionals and support staff and has been on hiatus since 2020. It returns this year for its 28th edition.

The Enhancing Quality Staff Symposium, returning this May 18 for its 28th edition, is specially designed for library paraprofessionals and support staff. EQS is presented by the University of Minnesota Libraries and Minitex, and has been on hiatus since 2020.

Past editions have offered attendees an incredible number and variety of sessions. EQS 2020's 35 sessions included:

  • Moving Minnesota – the Art and Science of Moving Dioramas
  • Breathing Techniques Librarians Need to Know to Handle Stressful Situations
  • Changing the Narrative: Libraries Serving Native Nations
  • I want a MLIS Degree. . .Or do I?
