The University of Jamestown Libraries is seeking an Electronic Resources and Distance Learning Librarian responsible for providing optimized access to the libraries’ online resources, overseeing technical service department operations, and providing research assistance primarily to UJ’s Graduate and Professional Studies program students, faculty, and staff. This librarian reports to the Director of Libraries and works closely with colleagues in Reference and Instruction Services. The position is current vacant. Application review begins immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
This position requires a master’s degree in Library or Information Science from an ALA-accredited program, or other relevant advanced information science degree at the time of hire. Applicants must submit, by email, a letter of application, curriculum vitae, transcripts (unofficial) of graduate degree or proof of enrollment in a graduate program demonstrating satisfactory progress, contact information for three references, and a brief statement of their personal teaching philosophy and interests.
