Storytelling workshops September 15

Celebrate storytelling through workshops, coaching, and performances at Story Arts of Minnesota's Storytelling for Changing Times: a Storytelling Festival on September 15 at Normandale Community College.

Schedule of events:

• 9:00-12:00 - Concurrent workshops designed for educators, future educators, and professional and community leaders and advocates: $30
  • The Magic of Metaphor (Preschool through lower elementary)
  • Working with the Brain to Make Learning Fun (Upper elementary through high school)
  • The Need for Storytelling in Today's World (Business and nonprofit leaders and professionals)
• 12:00-12:45 - Boxed lunch: $12
• 1:00-3:50 - Concurrent workshops and story concerts: FREE
• 4:00-5:30 - Storytelling for Changing Times concert: FREE
