Quick Summary
The Secretary of State’s office works to educate citizens on the process and power of voter registration and participation. We continue to strive towards 100 percent participation, and ask that you use your library to spread the word about the quick and easy process of online voter registration.
Dear Minnesota Librarians,
I am reaching out to you to ask that—in the midst of your work aiding in learning and exploration—you will consider hanging signs that promote online voter registration where you have accessible computers in your facilities. The Secretary of State’s office works to educate citizens on the process and power of voter registration and participation; you may have heard that in 2016 we returned to the number one spot in voter turnout in the country. We continue to strive towards 100 percent participation, and ask that you use your library to spread the word about the quick and easy process of online voter registration at MNVotes.org.
You are welcome to download or print copies of our online voter registration sign. In addition, the Secretary of State’s office will be sending copies (8.5x11) along with the regular delivery of interlibrary loan materials via Minitex Delivery. Please keep an eye out for for them, and let me know if I can be of any help, or if you have questions or suggestions. Please also let me know if you'd rather not receive them.
