Gerri Moeller has been selected as Minitex's Associate Director for Resource Sharing and Delivery. Valerie Horton announced the decision this week in an email to staff. Moeller's first day will be Wednesday, May 29.
"I'm thrilled to be joining the team at Minitex," Moeller wrote. "Bringing information and ideas to Minnesotans all over the state is important work, and I can't wait to be a part of it."
Moeller is currently the head of Viking Library System in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. "I've enjoyed my time with Viking," she added. "I am especially grateful for the amazing staff who work hard day in and day out to bring library service to the rural communities of west central Minnesota."
Prior to joining Viking, she was Director of the Outagamie Waupaca Library System in Appleton, Wisconsin. Moeller obtained her undergraduate degree at Lawrence University and her MLIS at the University of Wisconsin.
