I worked at MINITEX from 1982-87. I was in the reference section. At that time, to answer reference questions from libraries around Minnesota and the neighboring states, we walked or bussed to the University of Minnesota Libraries, the Minneapolis Public Library, and the Minnesota History Center. Before I left MINITEX, we were transitioning to more computer use for reference. It was a fun and challenging job with a great group of co-workers.

It has been interesting to see all the programs MINITEX has developed over the years. It was an honor to work there. Congratulations on 50 years!

Do you have a story to tell that shows how Minitex has changed over the years? Please share it with us!
