Quick Summary

Agnes Lee shares a quick update on what has been going on with resource sharing services over these past few weeks.

Body

While I wish my view from home resembled this picture, let me reassure you it most definitely does Not  - with a capital N! That said, Resource Sharing staff is still busy working from home and doing what we can. Since March 17 we have delivered 3,233 serial requests through the electronic resources at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus while our partnering libraries have filled 651 referral requests we have sent. The numbers are low compared to our normal volume but it shows we are all in this together and assisting patrons where we can. For that, a heartfelt thank on behalf of our patrons everywhere!

We have begun discussions both internally and externally on what a phased approach to being back at the library will look like and we plan to check in with libraries over the next couple of weeks. We will keep you informed as more information becomes available. As always, if you need anything from us, we are just an email away. Stay well!
