Body

Jennifer Shaw, Kathryn Hearn, and Amber Baune recently began working in our Referral Processing area in Resource Sharing.  Referral processing staff are crucial to making sure the items Minitex libraries lend are updated and routed to the proper location.  We are so happy they have joined our staff!

Jennifer Shaw

Jennie received her MLIS in 2014 and began her career working as an archival assistant on the Tretter Legacy Project. She was then hired as the project manager for the Borger Comic Book Collection. She is now working with us in Referral Processing and VDX Typing. In her free time she enjoys swimming, crocheting, and reading. When asked if she prefers coffee or tea with cake or pie she usually responds tea served with whichever pastry is served à la mode.

Kathryn Hearn

Kathryn graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2014 with a degree in Japanese studies. Before working at Minitex doing verification and referral processing, she had a position cataloging children's book at the Children's Literature Research Collections and Wilson Library. Her hobbies include admiring her cat, napping with her cat, and playing Scrabble (with her roommates, but the cat likes to help out when she can).

Amber Baune

Amber graduated with a double major in English and Humanities in 2012. She worked for East Central Regional Libraries (ETC) as both a library page (during high school) and as a library assistant (post-college). She now works in our Referral Processing and OCLC Verification units. She likes to read, catch up with friends, and watch movies and anime. She also enjoys lounging in the sun like a cat ("Dogs are better!") and looking up at the sky on a clear night.
