Minitex is offering a new learning cohort option starting September 25 for staff in Minnesota, North Dakota, or South Dakota who are enrolled in the self-paced Cataloging Foundations 1: Copy Cataloging for Beginners course.
This is a great opportunity to meet and learn from experienced catalogers while completing the Minitex Copy Cataloging for Beginners course. Following each module, you will meet with a mentor group to discuss course content, review key takeaways, and ask questions in a supportive setting.
The cohort will meet live via Zoom from 10:00 am - 11:00 am on the following dates:
- Sept. 25
- Oct. 2
- Oct. 16
- Oct. 23
Registration
To join the learning cohort, register by September 18. Please note that the learning cohort is only available for library cataloging staff in the Minitex region of Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.

Prerequisites
Staff should also be enrolled in the Minitex Cataloging Foundations 1: Copy Cataloging for Beginners course at least one week prior to the first meeting of the learning cohort (September 18).
