Quick Summary
The Minnesota Libraries Learning Network (MLLN) invites library professionals, educators, and content creators to submit proposals for original, engaging, and practical training content designed to support the Minnesota library workforce. Whether you have a dynamic idea for a short, skill-building session or an in-depth, multi-module course, we want to hear from you!
About MLLN
MLLN provides accessible training and professional development opportunities tailored to the essential skills and needs of Minnesota’s diverse library community.
MLLN is seeking training proposals in two formats:
- Quick Bites: Short (under one hour), asynchronous sessions introducing or addressing immediate topics of interest.
- Full Courses: Multi-hour, structured learning experiences incorporating videos, readings, exercises, and assessments, offering deeper exploration of key subjects, delivered through Canvas.
Why Submit a Proposal?
By contributing to MLLN, you help cultivate a statewide culture of continuous learning and professional growth. Your work will directly impact the quality of library services across Minnesota by strengthening the skills, confidence, and leadership abilities of our workforce. Note: If you are a library worker in the Metronet region, you can apply to Metronet for a support scholarship if your proposal is accepted.
Submission & Questions
Submit the proposal form and/or reach out with questions at mlln-admin@umn.edu. The MLLN Content Review Team will follow up with next steps and timeline details. We look forward to your ideas and to building Minnesota’s library learning network together!
