St. Kate's IM Department is excited to announce that the 2025 MLIS Summit is set for Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. This event will be held as a hybrid event, and attendees can either attend in person in Jeanne D’Arc Auditorium (JDA) on the first floor of Whitby Hall on St. Kate’s campus, and virtually over Zoom.

The keynote presentation, "Ignore All Previous Instruction: AI, Libraries, and Information Literacy," will be given by St. Kate’s MLIS alum and current Director of Information Technology at the University of Minnesota Libraries, Cody Hanson.

The Summit is the annual gathering of our community. Students, alums, faculty (fulltime, adjuncts), staff, Advisory Council, employers, LIS Professionals, and friends of the program are all invited to attend. This will be the first Summit we’ve hosted since 2021, and it will be our first hybrid Summit, ever. We are extremely excited to bring everyone together again, whether it be virtually or in-person!
