Registration is now open for the 2025 Upper Midwest Digital Collections Conference and MDL Annual Meeting, taking place at St. Paul's Union Depot on May 6-7. Our conference theme this year is "Digital Directions: Lessons Learned and Future Pathways." Reflecting this theme, the content covered by our various presenters will explore the often cyclical nature of digital collections work, how we revisit, evaluate, and build upon past accomplishments to look forward. The first day will include a set of preconference workshops in the afternoon on the topics of digital storytelling, digital preservation, and recent improvements to CONTENTdm. The second day's program features a keynote by Northwestern University's Craig Stevens, followed by fifteen breakout sessions all related to different aspects of digital collections work. It will be an eventful and educational two days.

We are offering two registration options for the conference this year. The first is for in-person attendance for the full event. The second, for those unable to attend in-person, is a streaming option. The program on Wednesday, May 7, will be live-streamed, and will allow access to the keynote presentation and twelve of the fifteen breakout sessions. Recordings will be made available to all conference registrants after the event.

For more details about the event, including how to register, please visit our event page. Registration closes Wednesday, April 30. See you at the conference!
