Quick Summary
The Wright County Historical Society is the latest contributor to the Minnesota Digital Library. Their digital collection includes a set of county school photographs and plat maps.

The Minnesota Digital Library (MDL) recently added a digital collection from the Wright County Historical Society, a new contributing organization. Their collection includes 75 black-and-white photographs of the school districts scattered throughout the county - most of which were one-room school houses. Many of these photographs include the teachers and students of these schools in addition to the school buildings.
MDL also digitized two historic plat maps of Wright County from 1879 and 1902. These maps show how the county was divided into towns, townships, and individual land ownership plats, and they even identify the landowners’ names. The locations of lakes, rivers, major roads, railroads, buildings, and schools are also noted on the maps.
