Description

On Friday, April 17, MDL and Minitex staff will provide an introduction to MDL Primary Source Sets. Attendees will learn about what is in each set and how to incorporate these resources into online teaching. Audience: This webinar is designed specifically for teachers, librarians, and school media specialists looking to integrate digital content.

The second session on Friday, April 24 will be an overview of our Guest Author program and is designed for anyone interested in writing a Primary Source Set. This is a great way to get involved with the Minnesota Digital Library! Audience: Any interested staff or individuals with a personal interest in historical content.

More About Primary Source Sets

Drawing online materials from libraries, archives, and museums across Minnesota, these sets use letters, photographs, advertisements, oral histories, postcards, newsletters, papers, speeches and more. Each set includes a topic overview, ten to twenty primary sources, links to related resources, and a teaching guide which includes classroom discussion questions and activities. We invite educators and researchers to use these primary source sets in their teaching and learning.
