The new addition includes seven volumes of the Proceeedings of the city of St. Paul's Common Council for the years 1859 - 1866. These books relate early information about the city of St. Paul and its government including correspondence, governmental officers, and city resolutions. Together these volumes help document some of the early years of Minnesota statehood.
