These oral histories were originally recorded on cassette tapes during the late 1970s. Thanks to the magic of digital format conversion, they are now available online. Many of the people interviewed speak about their parents and grandparents and their early experiences in the small town of Askov. These oral histories help to document and tell the story of early settlers in Minnesota’s Pine County.
