We are thrilled to announce a new addition to Minnesota Reflections, a collection of historic maps from the Ernest C. Oberholtzer Foundation. The Oberholtzer Foundation maintains Ernest Oberholtzer's legacy including his home and archives on Mallard Island in Rainy Lake. Oberholtzer's collections, housed both on Mallard Island and at the Minnesota Historical Society, include books, music, photos, and historic maps. The Oberholtzer Foundation's contribution to Minnesota Reflections includes ten selected maps, which "Ober" used either for his own canoe travels, for his wilderness policy development, or to teach others about his explorations.
