Check your PebbleGo and PebbleGo Next links

Capstone recently made updates to the PebbleGo and PebbleGo Next platforms, including changes to the link structure and navigation. These updates are part of a larger website overhaul that took place earlier this summer and include both back-end and front-end improvements.

What’s New?

• Older links using login.pebblego.com or shell.pebblego.com now redirect to updated app.pebblego.com addresses.
• Some users may notice that links previously landing on the PebbleGo/PebbleGo Next selection page now go directly to the PebbleGo modules.
• Platform changes include updated navigation, a refreshed look, and improved stability.

What This Means for Schools and Libraries

• Current links will still work. Older URLs continue to function through automatic redirects.
• Experiences may differ. Depending on a school’s network security settings and whether browser cache/history has been cleared, users may see either the PebbleGo home screen (with module selection) or be routed directly into PebbleGo.
• Optional updates recommended. To ensure smoother access and avoid redirect issues, Capstone recommends updating your links to the current format:
  • Example: https://app.pebblego.com/shell/home?sqs=[accountstring]
• 12-hour session timeout. If users return within 12 hours, PebbleGo will reopen to the last page visited, regardless of which link is used.

Next Steps

• Check your library or school’s direct links to PebbleGo and PebbleGo Next.
• If your links are redirecting correctly and users are not experiencing problems, no immediate action is required.
• If your links are not directing to the proper home site, or if you experience access issues, you should:
  • Clear your browser cache/history and test again.
• If issues remain, log in to your admin module, https://admin.pebblego.com/shell/home?sqs=[accountstring], to grab your updated links, or contact Capstone support for updated URLs.

You do not need to make urgent changes, but updating to the new app.pebblego.com links is recommended for consistency. Redirects remain in place, and Capstone support can help schools and libraries that need direct link updates.
