MarketingCharts.com highlights a Northwestern University report that looks at the top sources for health information by teens ages 13-18. According to the report, parents are the most used source for health information (55%) followed by the internet, health classes and doctors/nurses. Digital sources lagged behind all these sources.

Ranking is crucial: Over half of those that did search for health information online said they used Google or another search engine and they typically clicked on the first link that came up. 

Teens in Minnesota have a large amount of high quality health information available to them via the health resources available through ELM > Health & Medicine
