Quick Summary
Read about the achievements of the Research, Outreach, & Instruction team during fiscal year 2019.
And that's a wrap for fiscal year 2019!
Our major project for the year was updating our name, logo, and portal. We are now eLibrary Minnesota (still abbreviated as ELM!), and you can find the new portal at www.elibrarymn.org. If you haven't already, please take a minute to swap out any old Electronic Library for Minnesota logos on your library's site. You can find our new logos here. Also, remember to update any database or article links taken from the old portal. New links can be found here.
2019 was a great year for instruction. We reached over 3000 attendees at our conferences, presentations, and workshops on ELM and Ebooks MN: an increase of 45% over last year! We are particularly proud of the number and variety of organizations and schools throughout Minnesota with whom we partnered this year, and we only hope to see that number grow.
We continue to provide reference services to public, school, and academic libraries throughout the state via AskMN.org and support ELM users with technical and usage questions.
Finally, our team was honored to have been named Library Team of the Year at this year's Minnesota History Day competition, and of course, we share this with all of YOU: librarians, media specialists, and educators who work on the front lines with students and patrons every day.
We are looking forward to another productive year ahead. We will continue to improve our portal and ELM Learning Center and look for more ways to support you. Please reach out and let us know what we can do for you!
Sincerely, Linda, Beth, and Carla
