Quick Summary
In the past, Gale provided two different links to Informe Academico, a database of mostly Spanish-language periodicals. One of those links went to an interface written in Spanish, the other to an interface in English.
In the past, Gale provided two different links to Informe Academico, a database of mostly Spanish-language periodicals. One of those links went to an interface written in Spanish, the other to an interface in English. A recent change from Gale collapses those two interfaces into one. The link through the ELM portal currently defaults to the English-language interface, but researchers can change that language within a session by clicking the appropriate link in the top banner of the database.
If your library has links set up directly into Informe Academico, you should not need to change anything. However, you can choose your default interface language in the Gale Admin site under Product Specific Preferences. To be clear, this language selection applies only to the interface, not to the content of the database.
UPDATE 6/30/16: Gale is reporting an issue in setting the default interface language in Gale Admin. They're working to resolve the bug.
