Go Back to School with Schoolhouse Rock!: Executive Documents
Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2015
2:00 PM–3:00 PM (Central Time)

This webinar will focus on the executive branch and locating executive documents. Before the session, learners will watch Electoral College and Tax Man Max from Schoolhouse Rock!. Riegelman and Beck will elaborate on the content in the videos and use it to test your knowledge. By starting with this video intended for an elementary audience, we will layer on more advanced content about the executive branch of the federal government. Meet us in this liminal space as we transition from novices to experts.

An understanding of the executive branch as well as an awareness of the freely available and fee-based tools will help attendees tackle challenging patron inquiries about executive documents.

Presenters:
Amy Riegelman
Librarian of Government Information, Psychology, Educational Psychology, Child Development, and Data Services
University of Minnesota

Lynne Beck
Library Associate, Access & Information Services
University of Minnesota
