Body
The State of Minnesota now requires all high school juniors to take the ACT test. Thankfully, LearningExpress Library’s College Preparation Center has resources to help students prepare for this very important exam: http://www.elm4you.org/databases/content/testprep. The ACT Tutorial introduces the format and scoring of the ACT and provides interactive lessons on each of the five tests that the ACT comprises (Reading, Writing, English, Math, and Science). The ACT Practice Tests cover all five of the ACT tests and provide instant scoring and detailed answer explanations. There are four practice tests for each of the five areas of the ACT. The ACT Test Prep eBooks include four titles to help students prepare through word games, flashcard review, study strategies, and more. As a part of ELM, the LearningExpress Library College Preparation Center is available to students across the state at no additional cost. Find a link to LearningExpress Library on the ELM website. Within LearningExpress Library, locate College Preparation Center among the nine Centers included. For guided exploration of LearningExpress Library, check out the activities on the ELM Learning Center. And for a detailed look at ACT prep resources, sign up for an upcoming session of the short webinar “Practice Makes Prepared: The Newly Required ACT Test.” This webinar is open to anyone – if you know a secondary school educator, please encourage them to register!
