Body

There are many ways Ebooks Minnesota content can be incorporated into classroom learning.  Since the collection allows for unlimited use, great ways to benefit from the content would be an in class read-aloud for early readers, One Book One School, or for more directed learning, One Book One Class.  A great example is Poplar Bridge Elementary School in Bloomington, MN.  They incorporated direct links to 3 ebooks about koalas into their 2nd grade Koala Research Project, and identified them by reading level (easiest, medium, hardest) so students could choose a book based on their comfort level.  They also shared a direct link into Encyclopedia Britannica, which is part of the ELM suite of databases.

Has your school incorporated content from Ebooks Minnesota into the curriculum?  If so, let us know.  We would love to hear how you and your colleagues are using the content.  Ebooks Minnesota contains books on a huge range of topics and could save you and your users lots of time and money by linking homework assignments and other projects directly.  Both Ebooks Minnesota and ELM use geolocation so no login or authentication is needed, which can make access to these resources simple for students in Minnesota.
