Quick Summary
ProQuest is moving to subscription only for their ebook collections. They have offered us two times to meet with them to discuss the new policies: Monday, March 3, between noon and 2:30 p.m., and Monday, March 10, between 3 and 4 p.m.

ProQuest recently announced that they are transitioning to a subscription-only model for ebooks, phasing out one-time perpetual purchases of print books and ebooks. This news was unwelcome to libraries in the Minitex region, so ProQuest is offering a two times for library folks from the Minitex area to ask questions directly.
ProQuest VP of Product Sales, Melissa Oakes, and Diane Perry, Regional Director, will be joining this/these Q&A sessions.
The following times are open for a discussion/Q&A call (all times are Central):
- Monday, March 3rd, any time between 12-2:30 p.m.
- Monday, March 10th, 3-4 p.m.
ProQuest noted that any questions submitted and shared with them beforehand would be a huge help (anonymously or otherwise).
Please let CPERS know if you are interested in attending, and if so, which time works better for you. You can also send any questions you have, and if you'd like them to be shared anonymously.
