MUSE is launching a multi-publisher Subscribe to Open program, built around our current curated collections, for the 2025 subscription term.
S2O is an equitable open access model for scholarly journals that enables subscription journals to open access to their current year’s content without Article Processing Charges (APCs). Beginning in 2025, with more than 100 journals from 28 publishers, all current-year articles from participating journals will publish open access if that year’s subscriptions to MUSE Journals Collections meet our revenue sustainability threshold.
Project MUSE offers a variety of curated journal collection options to suit the needs of many kinds of libraries. MUSE journal products provide a rich resource for teaching and research in the humanities and social sciences. As a not-for-profit working only with not-for-profit publishers, Project MUSE strives to provide excellent value at fair, affordable prices to libraries.
See the For Librarians section of our website for more information about the available journal products, including a downloadable chart comparing the titles available in each collection.
