July 29, 2013, Boston, Oxford - In an effort to help public libraries and schools connect students to state certified teachers at their point of need, Credo today announced that it is making Homework Help available as a standalone service in addition to packaging the tool with its Literati solutions. Furthermore, Homework Help subscribers can use the newly released widget to embed the service in any website.
"On-demand homework assistance can mean the difference between simply passing and thriving for many students," said Mike Sweet, Credo's CEO. "With our acquisition of OnlineTutorSolutions.com, we're in the prime position to help students thrive and expanding Homework Help to make our in-house team of state-certified teachers more accessible to students is our first step towards this goal."
Credo's Homework Help pairs students with a state-certified teacher in a virtual classroom, complete with an online whiteboard and chat window, and allows for one-on-one collaboration to solve homework problems, edit papers or expand on lessons taught in school. Public libraries and schools that subscribe to Literati, which can be packaged with Homework Help, see even greater value. Literati's innovative teaching and learning tools, combined with authoritative reference content and customized services, provide a complete information skills solution.
