As a result of the Berg Fashion Library Online switching vendors from Oxford University Press to Bloomsbury Press, Cooperative Purchasing is now offering eresources and ebooks from Bloomsbury Press.
Bloomsbury Press started as a trade publisher 20 years ago and outside of the UK is mostly known for the Harry Potter series and most recently, Lincoln in the Bardo by George Saunders. About 10 years ago, Bloomsbury started publishing academic content and 5 years ago they began digital publishing. In the past 2 years, they plunged into digital resources and just this year they released 6 resources. All resources are DRM-free; unlimited users; and pagination in the digital version matches print. Depending on the resource, pricing is available for subscription or purchase. Books, the Bloomsbury Collections, are purchase-only and content is released on a yearly basis.
Cooperative Purchasing is currently running trials for Bloomsbury Design Library, Bloomsbury Food Library, Bloomsbury Popular Music, and Drama Online Library.
