Libraries save time and money by working with our Cooperative Purchasing and Electronic Resources Services (CPERS) team to license e-resources and buy library products. Last fiscal year, CPERS helped Minnesota libraries to save $5.9 million.
We provide reports to Minnesota libraries detailing these savings to indicate one measure of the value of collaboration, and to help libraries demonstrate their cost savings efforts. Reports are being distributed now to our director contacts at Minnesota libraries that have worked with CPERS in the past year.
