Minitex Value Proposition reports now available

At Minitex, one of our goals is creating statewide economies of scale through collaboration with the library community. This partnership allows us to offer cost savings and maintain highly efficient operations for everyone. To better showcase this value, we've launched the Minitex Value Proposition (MVP), an initiative designed to share the significant impact we make together.

We know that your time is valuable, and your participation in the Minitex network is a wise investment of that time. The impact of our collaboration can be seen in two ways: through personal stories and through data.

Testimonials from Minnesota library staff about the value of Minitex partnership tell one side of the story. As one librarian shared, “Time after time, year after year, our library patrons get what they need.”

Statistics tell the other side.  For instance, last year the Minitex Delivery service sent 368,510 items between Minnesota libraries, eLibrary Minnesota was searched 50.5 million times, and Minnesota libraries saved $3.2 million through Minitex Cooperative Purchasing. Last year, Minitex provided 58 professional development opportunities, most of which were free of cost to your staff members.
