The Minnesota Libraries Publishing Project (MLPP) brand has been minimized to prioritize its main tool, Pressbooks. Pressbooks will remain available to Minnesota writers, as before.
Minitex has retired the Minnesota Libraries Publishing Project (MLPP) brand. MLPP's core service has been access to Pressbooks, an online publishing platform, and that will continue. In addition to the branding change, the MLPP section of the Minitex website has been removed.
In the absence of "MLPP," the service will be referred to as Pressbooks via the Minnesota Libraries Publishing Project. This change will not affect user access to previously established accounts or book projects, their URLs, or any other aspects of the platform.
MLPP began offering Pressbooks to Minnesota's independent and self-published authors at its inception, in 2017.
