Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of tasks related to collection maintenance and content development - including shelving, inventory, gifts, and other acquisition procurement.
  • Special projects as assigned, such as class and researcher preparation, collections assessments, and exhibitions.
  • Other duties include handling reference questions and meeting with classes. 

Required Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent.
  • Include either an MLIS or working toward a library degree or sufficient library experience with processing, organizing, cataloging and/or handling special collections materials, and/or some reference work or research experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge of art & art history.
  • Some knowledge about rare art books and art and performing arts media.
