Responsibilities

  • Report to and work closely with Head of Archival Processing to follow processing best practices, utilizing DACS best practices.
  • Participate in relevant archival processing and content management system training.
  • With the assistance of the Head of Archival Processing, develop a work plan for project completion.
  • Rehouse, arrange, and describe the archival collection.

Required Qualifications

  • Possess strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Possess ability to follow directions and achieve goals under strict time constraints
  • Be comfortable working independently
  • Have advanced computer experience/knowledge
  • Have experience using Microsoft and Google document applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have experience with archival material.
  • Have experience using content management systems
