The Arrowhead Library System (ALS) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Systems Analyst.  This position is responsible for analyzing and improving the efficiency of workflows in all aspects of the automation system; maintaining essential IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, security tools, applications, and end user devices; handles business-critical IT tasks and systems that promote library service in the region; plans and implements projects and solutions within the larger business initiative; enables faster and smarter automation processes and develops analytics for meaningful insights; and works with internal and external partners to communicate project statuses, activities, and achievements.

The Systems Analyst position requires a Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Computer Science or a related field.  The incumbent must have a minimum of three years of experience as a Systems Analyst or a position with similar network/IT experience.  Public Library automation experience is desirable.  The entry level salary for this position for 2024 is $69,784 per year.  ALS offers a generous benefits package including health and dental insurance, life insurance, paid holidays, vacation and sick leave accumulation, and a state-managed retirement plan.
