Essential Functions
- Original or copy cataloging of print and non-print materials
 - Ability to operate computer equipment and office equipment
 - Upload MARC records and assure they conform to system standards
 - Update bibliographic records and maintain authority files
 - Maintain catalog and resolve errors and inconsistencies
 - Represent PCLS in user groups for the ILS software. Attend user meetings and conferences, online and in person as necessary
 - Maintain item types and shelving locations
 - Delete withdrawn items
 - Provide training and support to member library staff
 - Participate in on call rotation
 
Required Qualifications
- Coursework and/or experience in cataloging and organization of information or a bachelor's degree in related field
 - Ability to work independently and collaboratively
 - Commitment to continuing education
 - Ability to read, write, and speak English
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in library and information science
 - Knowledge of MARC format and other library standards and protocols such as RDA and Linked Data
 - Working knowledge of open-source ILS systems
 - Experience in instruction and training
 
Starting range
- $20.66 to $26.54 per hour/ 40 hours per week
