Body

You and your team completed your intended project. Yay! Now what? In project management terms you want to bring the project to an official close. Here, it is important to capture information about the project, archive your documents, officially close out the project, and celebrate with your team the work that was done. In this session we will share information about the last phase of a project’s life cycle, Project Close, followed by a wider discussion of project work and practices.

Each project management conversation will provide a short overview of a specific concept, method, skill, or technique that can be applied to a variety of projects followed by time for an interactive discussion of current work. These open office hours are designed to be a space for learning opportunities, community discussion, and sharing of ideas and practices in how to manage any library project. You can join at any time during the hour, but registration is required. Click here to register for the January 17th session.
