Quick Summary
Though I've been a part of Minitex for just under eight months, the new year offers a good opportunity to assess and reflect on what I've done and seen so far. It has been a season of transition and discovery, in many ways.
Though I've been a part of Minitex for just under eight months, the new year offers a good opportunity to assess and reflect on what I've done and seen so far. It has been a season of transition and discovery, in many ways.
I have gotten to travel widely throughout the Minitex region, meeting librarians, archivists, and curators from all sorts of different situations. I was able to hear lots of different stories, and I am fascinated by the ways in which library challenges differ and intersect all across the country. I also got to see Mount Rushmore for the first time!
In the next year, I look forward to meeting many more of you, visiting new libraries and other cultural heritage organizations, and hearing more of your stories. I'm excited to see what the new year will bring!
