In celebration of Native American Heritage month, we will be holding a Native American Artists Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon at Mia on Saturday, November 9, 2019, 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
During the edit-a-thon, we will be writing or enhancing articles about Native American Artists in Wikipedia. The event will be held in Mia's Friends Community Room & Library Reading Room.
No Wikipedia experience necessary. The day will begin with a social hour and refreshments from 11 a.m. to Noon. The edit-a-thon will kick off at Noon. A 20-minute training session will be held at 12:20 p.m. for event newcomers. Library resources, including “Hearts of Our People, Native American Women Artists” catalog will be on hand. Bring your laptop, power cord, and ideas for articles.
