The Minnesota Department of Education is now recruiting candidates for the Director of State Library Services and the Health and Expanded Learning Unit.
As the leader of both State Library Services and Health and Expanded Learning, you will provide overall leadership and coordination of these diverse services offered by the Minnesota Department of Education. You will oversee a large budget of approximately $23 million in annual state grants, and will provide guidance to internal and external public and school library systems, schools, youth serving organizations, community health agencies, U.S. Department of Education, CDC officials, national organizations, legislators, program divisions within MDE, other state agency staff, and the general public.
