Body

Pew Research Center data has found that millennials are more likely to use public libraries than any other adult generation.  53% of millennials (ages 18-35) have said they have used or visited a public library in the past year, while just 43% of baby boomers (ages 52-70) said they have.  Aside from showing the difference in generational usage of public libraries the report also indicated that women are more likely than men to say they have visited a bookmobile or public library in the past year.  Interestingly, the report also showed that a public library mobile app is less likely to be used than the public library itself or its website.  You can read more about how Americans engage with libraries at Pew Research Center library usage and engagement.
