Just yesterday, I attended Day 1 of the 2019 LibTech Conference at Macalester College.  Jennifer Shier, a Media Specialists for St. Paul Schools started the day with a session that offered an overview of the QR code treasure hunt she sent her students on within her library.  She found that this was a great way to increase student engagement and family night engagement (great for parents).  It was also a fun contest for students.  Jennifer posted QR codes around the library that would take students to questions about famous people.  The students worked in groups or teams and the first team to successfully complete the 10 question quiz would win a prize.  What a great way to get students to interact with technology and to learn about famous people along the way.  Jennifer suggested a few QR code generators to start with including Classtools.net and QR Code Generator.
