Minnesota Council on Latino Affairs Parent Education Survey on Distance Learning
The MN Council on Latino Affairs (MCLA) wants to expand upon our understanding of how well or difficult distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic has been. All responses are recorded anonymously. For your privacy, please do not share any names or identifying information in your responses.
The results from this survey will be shared with the Minnesota Department of Education so they can better address the issues parents/guardians experience during distance learning and how to effectively improve it - now and in the future. Responses will also be shared with community organizations and other state officials to better provide resources, shape policy, and more.
"Distance learning" in this survey means education not done in the classroom, rather, it is child participation in an online class conducted through video calls and/or online assignments. As a result of the executive order issued by Governor Walz on April 23, 2020, students will not return to school and will continue to learn through distance learning through the end of the school year.
