On Wednesday, September 28, Lizzy Baus will be facilitating a preconference entitled "Library Linked Data for the Uninitiated." Attendees will learn about the basic ideas behind Linked Data and BIBFRAME, how the two connect, and what they really mean for the daily life of the on-the-ground librarian. And yes, there is a secret handshake at the end.
On Thursday, September 29, Lizzy and Jolie Graybill will present "Deep Roots and New Growth: Minitex Cataloging Update." In DIME's annual update, they will discuss current projects and trends in the larger cataloging and metadata world, including several Minitex initiatives.
We look forward to seeing you there!
