EBSCO is introducing a new EBSCOhost Resource Hub, scheduled to launch in early 2027 and replace the current Select Service page. The Resource Hub will provide authenticated users with a clearer, more customizable way to choose among an institutionā€™s EBSCO profiles when accessing without a link to a specific profile.
Administrators can now begin configuring their Resource Hub in advance through the Authentication & Access area of EBSCO Experience Manager (EEM). Customization options include:
- Customizing profile names
- Adding brief profile descriptions
- Providing institution contact information
- Hiding profiles you do not want displayed
Any customization completed now will be reflected in your Resource Hub when it launches, allowing you to prepare the experience for your users in advance.
No immediate action is required, but we encourage administrators to customize their Resource Hub before the early 2027 launch.
