New contribution to Minnesota Reflections: Lake Superior Railroad Museum

Lake Superior Railroad Museum's new contribution increases their collection in Minnesota Reflections by more than 33%. Included in the project is a series of architectural drawings related to the construction of the Union Depot in Duluth. Today the train station is home to the Lake Superior Railroad Museum.  

Large format scanner now available for loan!

After many requests, Minnesota Digital Library has assembled a new scanning kit for the Scan for Keeps equipment loan program. The new Epson Expression scanner can handle items of up to 11" x 17", a significant size increase over the 8 1/2" x 11" limit on our two existing scanner kits.

MDL 14th Annual Meeting a success

Thanks to everyone who attend the 14th Annual Meeting of the Digital Library on June 7th! The event was a success, with much enthusiasm around the keynote topic of copyright and rights statements. If you missed the conference, or would like to review what you saw that day, video from the morning sessions and the slides from the afternoon breakouts are available on the MDL website.  

Minitex website, ELM, and other Minitex services will be unavailable Saturday, January 9

The University of Minnesota servers that support the Electronic Library for Minnesota (ELM), the Minitex website, and other Minitex services will be down for maintenance this Saturday, January 9. Service will be restored the next day. We apologize for the inconvenience.
