ITEM Summer Meeting: Celebrations and Future Planning

The ITEM Summer meeting was a celebration of legislative success, with per-pupil school library media funding and funding to the multicounty, multitype library systems to create the foundations for increased licensed library media specialists across Minnesota. The group also looked to the future to establish goals for the next round of legislative requests, and to continue to support strong and vibrant school libraries and School Library Media Specialists across Minnesota.

Setting up links to new Statewide Nursing/Allied Health databases

As of July 1, links to the new Nursing and Allied Health databases in eLibraryMN will be activated and ready for use. Minitex Outreach and Instruction librarians will be offering professional learning opportunities and technical support as you integrate these resources into your library's collection.

Registration is open for the West Central Technology Conference

The West Central Technology Conference will take place on July 26 at Alexandria Area High School in Alexandria, Minnesota. The conference bills itself as "Created by IT professionals, for IT professionals, focusing on all things technology in business, government, and education." Registration is $35.
