Minitex Technical Services Symposium: Keynote and location announced!
We're excited to share the news that Metropolitan State University is our co-sponsor for the Minitex Technical Services Symposium: Linked Data and the Future and MarcEdit workshop, and both events will take place on December 6 in the Library and Information Services building, located at 645 7th Street East, Saint Paul, Minnesota. We're also excited to provide you with more information about the keynote speaker, Jean Godby (OCLC Research), and MarcEdit workshop presenter, Terry Reese (creator of MarcEdit). Minitex DIME staff at 2017 Minnesota Library Association Annual Conference
The Digital Initiatives & Metadata Education (DIME) staff will be presenting and staffing the Minitex booth and the Minnesota Digital Library professional table at the MLA Annual Conference, October 5-6, 2017. We're presenting "Radical all along: A historical look at Minnesota librarianship," Digital Preservation Day at the Library," and "Mapping the State: Place-based Discovery in Minnesota Reflections."

Our keynote speaker is J. Jeff Kober, President of Performance Journeys and CEO of World Class Benchmarking. In a tailored keynote for our conference, J.
