Introduction to Digital Preservation Webinar Recording Available

Minitex hosted a webinar recently to introduce the concept of digital preservation and all the issues that come with it. Carol Kussmann, Digital Preservation Analyst at the University of Minnesota Libraries, defined the life-cycle of digital objects and the challenges and risks associated with providing long-term access to digital content. Carol also introduced resources to aid further study, such as the Library of Congress Digital Preservation Outreach and Education Program.
