April Standardized Rights Statements Open Office Hours

The second of the Minnesota Digital Library's monthly rights statements implementation open office hours will be taking place Tuesday, April 20th at 2:00 pm.

There's still time to submit proposals for MDL Phase 17

The Minnesota Digital Library (MDL) is accepting Phase 17 applications for inclusion in the digital collection through Friday, May 21, 2021, or when the money is fully allocated. Content related to underrepresented Minnesota history is our highest priority, but we accept other content as well, including 3D items.

New Primary Source Sets available on MDL

The Minnesota Digital Library (MDL) has published four new Primary Source Sets on our website. These sets focus on the lumber industry in Minnesota, Minnesota's three major railroads, Sinclair Lewis's experiences living and working in Duluth, and the rise and fall of Twin Cities streetcars.

Wrapping up the Upper Midwest Digital Collections Conference + MDL Annual Meeting

We had record attendance this year, with over 600 people attending the Upper Midwest Digital Collections Conference + Minnesota Digital Library Annual Meeting on November 5th and 6th. About one-third of attendees were from Minnesota and others joined from 43 states.

Last chance to register for the fall Minitex digital collections conference

The last day to register is Monday, November 2, 2020. The joint Upper Midwest Digital Collections Conference and the Minnesota Digital Library Annual Meeting will be held November 5-6, 2020. The conference will be held virtually via Zoom, and is free and open to all. So far we've had attendees register from 38 states and several countries. Help us reach all 50 states!

DeEtta Jones to deliver keynote at Minitex fall conference

We're excited to announce that DeEtta Jones will deliver the keynote address at the November 5-6 Upper Midwest Digital Collections Conference + Minnesota Digital Library Annual Meeting. The keynote will focus on how to integrate diversity, equity, and inclusion principles into our work and within our organizations.
