Northfield Public Library Oasis serves patrons where they are

The Northfield Public Library inaugurated its new branch, the "Oasis," at a ribbon cutting ceremony on February 29. The Oasis is located in the Northfield Community Resource Center near three public schools and a number of low-income housing developments.

The first things that come to mind when you think of Northfield are probably its colleges, St. Olaf and Carleton. But Northfield also boasts one of Minnesota's fastest-growing Latino/x communities.
